Fire Fighting Products

Designed for use by all fire departments to reduce the fire hazard associated with flammable liquid spills. NO-MORE-VAPOR is a surface active agent that emulsifies fuels and hydrocarbons with water. Once emulsified, the fire hazaed is minimized because the flammable or combustible vapors are suppressed. The product is biodegradable and contains no petroleum distillates or other solvents.

This special wetting agent is designed to help fight stubborn, smoldering fires in upholstery, bedding, paper, hay, and brush. Treated water penetrates more quickly, extinguishing the blaze with only 1/3 as much water. WATER WETTER is biodegradable and non-corrosive. It will not harm tanks or fittings, and is compatible with all foamsand tank protectors.

TANK SAVER inhibits rust and corrosion formation in all metal water tanks. Designed for fire departments utility and emergency water supply facilities, TANK SAVER forms a thin protective film on all exposed metal surfaces. It is non-toxic, odorless, and tasteless, and protects all metals, including iron, steel, galvanized, brass, bronze, copper, and alloys. Tanks treated with TANK SAVER may be used for potable water without rinsing.

FIRE FIGHTING FOAM is a synthetic aqueous film forming foam. When diluted to 3% and applied with foam generating equipment, it produces a thick long lasting foam blanket with excellent smothering and vapor suppressing properties. As it spreads across non-polar flammable liquids, a watery film drains from the foam matrix to float on top of the burning liquid. This film serves several purposes; 1) it smothers the fire by preventing air from reaching burning liquid; 2) aqueous film seperates the flame from the liquid; 3) generates a vapor barrier that prevents the release and reignition of flammable vapors cooling the fuel and adjacent surfaces below their ignition tempatures.
